IFA, the world’s largest and most important tech trade show, will once again bring together international industry leaders, innovators, and tech fans in Berlin this year. As an IFA partner, MediaMarktSaturn is shaping the program on the Dream Stage in the IFA NEXT Hall on the first day of the show with presentations and panel discussions.
MediaMarktSaturn & IFA: It's a match! Europe’s largest consumer electronics retailer and one of the most important stages for cutting-edge technology and innovation for consumer & home electronics share a common passion for technology and make it accessible to a global audience. To kick off the trade show, MediaMarktSaturn will take over the Dream Stage in the IFA NEXT Hall on the first day from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm, presenting a diverse program on innovative retail concepts of the future. The central guiding principle of this year’s program is a consistent focus on an exceptional customer experience. MediaMarktSaturn demonstrates how close cooperation with industry partners and the development of pioneering store and service concepts help to fundamentally transform the shopping experience. A Space Full of Possibilities:
With the “Space-as-a-Service” concept, MediaMarktSaturn is transforming parts of its sales areas into flexibly designed experience spaces that showcase brands and technologies and invite customers to try them out. Instead of traditional sales areas, Experience Zones, Entrance Statements, and versatile boutiques are being created, making changing themes, products, and services come alive. The in-store shopping experience is enhanced, and brand partners are offered new opportunities for presentation.

Concepts That Stand Out:
With a nationwide network of nearly 400 stores, MediaMarktSaturn provides the foundation for customer proximity—and for services that set the company apart from the competition. For example, thanks to collaboration with Uber, products ordered online can currently be delivered to customers from around 300 stores within 90 minutes. Compared to pure online retailers, MediaMarktSaturn also scores with comprehensive personal support for shopping. The stores themselves are also consistently adapted to different customer needs thanks to various store formats.

This presentation will take a closer look at “Personalized Service.” With this concept, MediaMarktSaturn is setting new standards in brick-and-mortar retail. The close integration of online and offline offerings ensures a seamless shopping experience across all channels. The goal is to build personal relationships, accompany the entire customer journey, and thus strengthen customer loyalty.
