They are our experience champions—because they create a unique shopping experience for our customers. Here they tell their stories. This time: Jamal Bataineh, Boutique Manager at Tech Village Berlin.
Jamal has been working for MediaMarktSaturn in the Berlin region since 1997. Today, he is responsible for the boutiques in our Tech Village at Berlin's Alexanderplatz, i.e. the market areas where our partners present their latest products.
His colleagues, including Arvid Schirmag, store manager at MediaMarkt Berlin-Mitte, particularly appreciate Jamal's open manner and his intuition for people.
Jamal began his career at Karstadt in the late 1980s before moving to MediaMarkt in 1993 – first in Essen, then to Berlin, where he has been deeply rooted ever since.
In his private life, too, Jamal focuses on togetherness. Together with his dog Rüdiger, he enjoys spending time at home and is already dreaming of his next big project: a “pet boutique” in the market. “We have so many animal lovers in Berlin, it would be a real topic for the future!”
