MediaMarktSaturn belongs to selected networks and initiatives via its parent company CECONOMY. 

Sustainable Consumption Pledge

We have been a signatory to the European Commission's Sustainable Consumption Pledge since 2022. In doing so, we are committing ourselves to far-reaching climate targets. The initiative is a continuation of the Green Consumption Pledge, which we were one of the first European companies to sign in 2021.  

UN Global Compact

We have been part of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) for more than five years. We take part in peer learning groups in which companies from different sectors exchange views on the challenges of climate management.

HDE principles of action

We have signed the standardised principles of action of the German Retail Association (HDE) and are thus committed to acting more sustainably. In five guiding principles, the HDE defines the common understanding of our social role as entrepreneurs, suppliers, partners and employers.

Diversity Charta

We have been a signatory to the Diversity Charter since 2018. This means we are committed to an appreciative and unprejudiced working environment. We also network with other companies in the "Accelerator Programme for Gender Equality" initiated by the UNGC to discuss ideas and strategies for a more inclusive economy.
